In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.  

I also joined to remember one of my longtime coaches, Robin Jacobs of WSY/TYDE of Winston-Salem NC who passed away earlier this year after battling cancer for many years. Coach Robin helped me learn to set goals, motivate myself, and remeber to have fun while swimming. She was an incredible coach who will missed deeply and I hope to swim this race in her honor.
