Welcome to My Personal Page
Hello! I am incredibly excited for my fourth year participating in Swim Across America. I became familiar with the organization four years ago through a connection to my club swim team; the event was a gratifying and fulfilling experience, and I have continued participating ever since! For the past few years, I have also become involved in the organization by serving on the Junior Advisory Board for SAA Atlanta, and this year I am serving as the Vice President. Through the Advisory Board, I hope to turn my passion for this cause into action and contribute to making a significant difference!
This cause, childhood cancer research, is important to me. Last summer, in addition to being a member of the Junior Advisory Board, I was also a volunteer bilingual interpreter at CHOA. Every week, I had the opportunity to interact with and get to know patients that were fighting cancer. It deeply impacted me to see how cancer was affecting their lives and the bravery it takes to combat it. For many patients, cancer research represents hope. This experience, as well as losing my grandfather to cancer, has deeply affected me and led to a personal interest in this cause. Please consider contributing to my donations page to help me make a difference. Thank you!
