Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

Roxboro Sharks joined Swim Across America because we believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. Our team values are Sportsmanship-Hardworker-Attitude-Respect-Kindness.  When we swim laps together for Swim Across America we are demonstrating all of these team values. If you are able, please support us by making a donation.  Sharks will swim our annual lapathon on Thursday June 20 during our practice sessions.  Donations may be made online in honor of your favorite Shark!
