In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I have a personal connection to cancer. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer 2.5 years ago, so I understand first hand how cancer can impact a families life. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.

Swim Across America is an open water swim in Lake Lanier and I will be swimming a mile. Swimming is one of my biggest passions, so what better way to raise money for an amazing cause! It is a huge fundraiser to raise money for cancer research.
