Hi family and friends,
Two years ago, my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Thankfully she was able to receive top care for her treatment and now she is cancer free.
In September, I will participate in an open water swim at Lake Lanier to help raise money for Swim Across America's goal to fund cutting edge cancer research.
Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I joined Swim Across America in honor of my mom, and because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope.
