Hi everyone! My name is Londyn Agee, and this is my first year participating and serving as a junior ambassador for Swim Across America. I joined Swim Across America because of their mission to fund cancer research. As someone who is going through what families across the world are enduring, I want to do all I can to ensure that people receive the care they deserve. Everyone should have the opportunity to live life cancer free, and SAA works so maybe someone will. My niece, Kaelyn, was only 3 years old when she was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. She has always been one of the strongest toddlers I knew, and after watching her fight cancer at such a young age, I was truly inspired. When I first heard she was diagnosed, I was crushed. Her strength is what kept my whole family strong. She recently ended her chemo treatments on March 4th of 2024, and is currently 4 years old! She remains one of the strongest people I know and a true inspiration. I volunteer in hopes that the money I raise helps another child in the way my niece has been helped through her journey.
