My why for being a part of Swim Across America is my incredibly strong grandmother who is a cancer survivor, my grandfather, and my great-grandmother both of whom I lost to cancer when I was younger. I decided to fight cancer through Swim Across America because no one should have to lose a loved one or lose their life to cancer. Swim Across America is my way to fight cancer while doing what I love for the people I love.
