September 15 will be my 15th year participating in the Baltimore Swim Across America event to raise funds for cancer research at the Swim Across America lab at The Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center.  All the support, love, and kind words provided to me over the years have given me the strength to do this swim.  It has been a tremendous team effort which I really appreciate.

The only way we will eliminate cancer is through research which is why I seek donations.  My family and many others, after receiving a frightful cancer diagnosis, have been fortunate to find good researchers and treatment.  Too many others have not been as fortunate.   

I hope you will support cancer research so families never hear the words, “their loved one has cancer.”
