On September 15, 2024, I will be swimming in honor of my brother Alan, my father Leonard, and my good friends Ray and  Lee in the 13th annual Swim Across America, Baltimore Open Water Swim. The purpose of the swim is to raise money for cancer research, prevention and treatment at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. For my part, I will be swimming 3 miles in the Magothy River. My brother, my father and Ray died from cancer, and Lee is a cancer survivior. Hopefully, a cure for others diagnosed with cancer can be developed through the research being done at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
