Christopher Eisenberg -- Swim Across America / Baltimore
Dear friends,
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.
Swim Across America Baltimore (SAAB) has been making a difference in cancer research for 13 years by contributing to Dr. Luis Diez's (now at Memorial Sloan Kettering) important work occurring at The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University. See the NYT link below for more details. Some of the funding for this important research came from Swim Across America. This is why we Swim Across America -- to help save cancer patients.

If you are able, please support my SAAB open water swim by making a gift to support cancer research. This year SAAB participants will be swimming 3 miles in Chesapeake Bay at High Tide Farm on Sept 18th. The researchers we are funding are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America's early-stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives.
Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
