Swimming to Make a Difference
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer.
In 1983, I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease, a form of lymphoma. With surgery and chemotherapy, the Johns Hopkins Cancer Center gave me an additional 38 years and counting.
As a volunteer for fourteen years, I have designed all of the Baltimore Swim Across America materials. If you see a crab on a shirt or an SAA item, you can blame me.
If you are at the open water event and see a guy in a white swim cap assisting another swimmer or kayaking that could be me.
Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America - Baltimore, c/o Meadowbrook Swim Club, 5700 Cotton Worth Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21209.
Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer you are supporting!
Thank You.
