Thank you so much for visiting my page! This year will be my 10th year participating in Swim Across America Baltimore. A lot has changed since my first swim in 2015. My mom was still alive then, still hopeful that the money raised at the swim might help doctors find her a miracle. 

Writing this and re writing it every year is not easy. This year is particularly hard after my wedding and the birth of my nephew, Murphy. My mom told me she wanted to be here for our weddings, our kids, all our life events and she's not and it sucks. I know in some way she's with me but I still just wish she was physically here. Sometimes I still can't believe she never met my husband, Colin. 

I am so excited to be back swimming in person this year for Team ROCK ON in Baltimore to help fight cancer and find a cure. All the money raised goes directly to fund cancer research at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. In the years since we started swimming in 2015, the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center has come out with a new drug to treat cancer, Keytruda. This drug would not be on the market without the funds raised from Swim Across America.
