Please join me in raising money to fight cancer in memory of Cristy Rocks, the beloved mom of my best friend, Hanna. 

After a courageous 2-year battle against cancer, Cristy passed away in May 2016. The Swim Across America race in Baltimore is a highlights of my year because it allows me to support the medical teams that treated Cristy. As Cristy was a prolific athlete herself, there is nothing better than a swim in the Chesapeake Bay to celebrate her. In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. 

This will be my ninth "swim" with Team ROCK ON in memory of Cristy. The past few years, I and many members of Team ROCK ON couldn’t participate in person. Last year was the best excuse because it was Hanna’s wedding! But THIS year, we are so back baby! We will be swimming in Baltimore, and nothing short of another hurricane (tbt 2019) can stop us.
