Welcome to My Personal Page
Cancer is personal to all of us. Just like you, I've lost plenty of beautiful friends and family prematurely. Carrie, Erik, Ellen, Frank, Miriam, Tom, Uncle Bobby, Fred, Ernie, Paul... to name a few. I'm taking this 68-year old body out into the Chesapeake Bay to swim 3 miles - because I still can!, to honor those who have died, and to help raise funds for a cure. Please contribute!
Since 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, they have raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I am happy to join my friend John Dierkes' team - Team mELLENoma. John's wife Ellen died of cancer. Let's give more families hope. Please support me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thanks!
