Join Pam to Making Waves to Fight Cancer 2024
As Board Chair of Swim Across America, I am humbled and proud to be a part of this impactful organization. I am lucky to have the opportunity to visit many of the doctors and cancer centers we support and know we are making a real difference in early stage research. I am looking forward to returning to the Boston Harbor on August 10th to support the incredible research and clinical trials we fund at Dana Farber and MGH. During a recent visit to MGH with Dr. Choi ,we learned of the impact from some of the early stage grants we have been able to make because of generous donors like you.
I swim each year to honor and remember my friends who have battled and are battling cancer and to honor their loving families. Each year I pray to not know any new friends that have been diagnosed with this terrible disease, but unfortunately this is never the case. This year I am swimming to honor my Mom, Aunt Susie, Fraser, Simon, Rick, Pete, Ben, and Amy and in memory of our dearest family friends Irwin and Ady who passed away last year. I am also swimming in memory of our dear friends and swimming buddies Steve and Eddie who loved swimming in the Boston Harbor for Swim Across America.
I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change the future for these dear friends and many more. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
With so much gratitude,
Pam
