Dear friends and family,

Another Year and Cancer continues to impact my life and those that I love. This year my brother-in-law Jay Polito who fought courageously with colon cancer succumbed after a year long battle.  So yes, I continue to swim to bring recognition to this on going battle and support cancer research.  Every one of us has a loved one that has battled cancer.  I do this 1/2 mile swim - which is outside my comfort zone -  for all those that are survivors, those continuing treatment - and in memory of my brother-in-law Jay Polito and my big brother Jay Manley.  This year we are doing this swim right in South Boston - so no fear of sharks or orcas's - whew.  Thank you for your ongoing support of our swim.
