On Saturday, August 10, I will once again be swimming in Swim Across America’s Boston Harbor Open Water Swim. We are well on our way to making our goal this year of raising $500,000. Last year’s swim was inspiring, as the doctors from Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Massachusetts General Cancer Center who receive early stage funding from Swim Across America, came and spoke to the swimmers and their families and friends about the cutting edge research they are conducting to make our world cancer free.
