Hello family, friends and supporters! Most of you know someone with a cancer diagnose. Is it a family member, a close friend, a dear neighbor or did you go through it yourself. Luckily cancer treatment has tremendously improved over the recent years thanks through cancer research and innovation. Thanks to new therapeutic approaches the overall survival rate has improved significantly. We all benefit from these new therapies. Most treatments can be done as an outdoor patient which helps tremendously to go through the treatment process. New approaches are costly. Without support we wouldn't be there were we are. My daughter Lena and I will participate in the Boston Open Water Swim at Pleasure Bay. It's an annual charity swim that raises money for cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Mass General Hospital for Children Cancer Center. the money goes to early stage cancer research and clinical trials. We would be very grateful if you would support us.
Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. If you are able, please support me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal.
Thank you for helping me #MakeWavesToFightCancer.
