Last August, I had the amazing opportunity to watch Team Sousa swim for a lovely woman, Toni Sousa. Sadly, after an 11 month battle to pancreatic cancer, she passed away in December of 2023. 

Her son, Dalton, is a great friend of mine and his little sister Cora is such a sweet and caring young woman that I have had the privilege to get to know. These are two people that did not deserve this pain, but are still staying strong and honoring their mother in wonderful ways. 

This upcoming August, I will be joining them in honoring their mother and helping to raise what I can to cure pancreatic cancer. All I can ask is to please consider donating to this awesome cause and for this amazing family! I can't wait for my first open water swim with Team Sousa!!!
