I bet there's not one person out there who hasn't been affected by cancer. I lost my mom to cancer 17 years ago, my father-in-law 5 years ago, and my sister just passed away this year. 

Our team has raised BIG funds for cancer research over the years, and I'm proud to be a participant this year in support of that work. I saw in the time since my mom was first diagnosed to when my sister was diagnosed (with the same form of cancer) what the research had meant to the field, and what amazing therapies had become reality during that time to prolong her life!

Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
