I believe that cancer has touched every one of our lives in some way, and I am proud to support Swim Across America, which allows us all to join in the fight against cancer.

The best part about Swim Across America is that 100% of the money raised in this event stays within our North Carolina community. All proceeds will be given directly to the Levine Cancer Institute to help fund their research. The need for new treatments and procedures is always present, and the money raised through Swim Across America funds the research to make these advances possible.

I am excited to participate in the Charlotte Open Water event for my seventh year, and will be swimming 2 miles.
