Hi Everyone,

Coach Larry here.

Important question - what can we do together to help change this tragic statistic: 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetimes.  

One thing we can do is swim.

This year, I am teaming up with the Swim Across America community so that I can join in with thousands of other swimmers across the country who are doing their part in making that statistic ancient history.  

On October 20, I will be swimming 20 sets of 20 laps of the pool.  That's 400 laps total, which amounts to 10,000 yards.  Sounds pretty daunting, but it's nothing compared to what my dad, and too many others, have endured in their battle against cancer.

Today, I am humbly asking if 20 people could donate $20 in support of my efforts to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives. Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
