On October 6th, I will be participating in the two-mile Open Water Lake Wylie Swim for Swim Across America. SAA in Charlotte raises funds that go directly to supporting cancer research at Levine's Cancer Institute, where researchers, physicians and caregivers work together to provide treatments to cancer patients to extend and improve the quality of their lives to the best of their abilities.
I swim to continue the fight! Cancer has effected so much of my family--from my brothers, my aunt and my sister-in-law. It is a disease that has affected so many and will continue to affect more unless we find a cure. And it starts with us.
Any donation that you can provide will be truly appreciated. Together we can help fund Levine to find the cure, help those in need and provide a better life for all who have to suffer.
