I joined this year’s Swim Across America in October 2024 because I want to help give more families hope - funding supports young investigators and their research projects at Levine Cancer Institute.

It's been an awesome experience at Masters Swimming (MSA) in south Charlotte this year.

Support for young investigators provides funding to a cohort of promising investigators and future research leaders to encourage and promote quality research in clinical oncology.

Funding is designed to nurture young scientists in the pursuit of independent hypotheses and to enable them to develop the preliminary data necessary to successfully compete for major research grants.

Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
