Kaylee Daniell
Hello--Thank you for visiting my page!
My name is Kaylee Daniell. I am so excited to be apart of the JAB for 2024! This is my first time participating in SAA and I ready to make this year the best yet. I am a rising junior at Charlotte Country Day School and have been on the competitive swim team at SwimMac since I was seven years old. I have a drive for connecting various communities for a great cause, like SAA, and am eager to bring my strengths to the JAB this year.
SAA hosts fundraising events to educate others and raise money for various cancer preventions and treatments. Our big event in October is an open water swim in which I will swim in for my biggest supporter, Rachel Heneghan.
In 2020, my godmother Rachel Heneghan got diagnosed with breast cancer. Seeing the effects cancer had on her during her treatments is what ultimately made me join the JAB. Not knowing if the treatments would work caused great stress in me; what would I do without the women who made me who I am today? Luckily, she won her battle and is now cancer free. However, seeing the uncertainty that lies within cancer treatments is what makes me so passionate in SAA. The money we raise will go towards cancer research, prevention, and treatment. With the new technology on the rise, I hope to raise as much money as possible to help prevent the uncertainty of beating cancer. All in all, allowing those with cancer to avoid the stresses of possible treatment outcomes. I hope you consider donating to SAA to advance cancer research and prevent cancer from winning.
Thank you for helping me #MakeWavesToFightCancer.
