Queens University of Charlotte Swimming athletes, coaches, and alumni have supported Swim Across America since their first charity swim in 2017, as we've all been affected by cancer in some shape or form. Throughout this time, QU Swimming has raised over $30,000 that has been granted to fund the hematology/leukemia and pediatric sarcoma research programs at Levine Cancer Institute and Levine's Children's Hospital.

Queens Swimming operates under seven team values: communication, character, teamwork, excellence, urgency, social responsibility, and service, with the latter serving as motivation for over 1,800 hours of community service work in the greater Charlotte metropolitan area throughout the past 12 months. Excellence in the pool and the classroom is just one factor that Queens Swimming aims to work towards in the effort of building true leaders for life. With this in mind, Swim Across America and its outstanding fundraising efforts are integral to who we are as a program.

Queens Swimming is thrilled to participate in this fall's swim and is committed to showing our support for those who have left their legacies, whether they're continuing to or have lost their fight with cancer.
