The NC State Club Swim Team is making waves to fight cancer this October!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. We are joining the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that. We are challenging ourselves by swimming in the Charlotte Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. All proceeds stay in our North Carolina community, and will go directly to the Levine Cancer Institute, whose research in prevention and treatment will make an impact in the fight to find a cure.
You can choose from swimming 0.5 miles, 1 mile, or 2 miles.
Not interested in swimming open water? There are also lots of positions open for volunteers, and Swim Across America would greatly appreciate your help!
Please consider joining us in the fight against cancer by joining our team in the water, by volunteering, or by donating to the cause using the link on this page!
I hope to see all you guys on October 6th!
Note: Despite the message when registering, there is no required fundraising amount you have to reach, it is only a goal.
