Friends and Family, 

After losing my sister, Anne, to non-hodgkins lymphoma in 1998,  Swim Across America gave us the chance to remember and honor her, as well as all the other friends and family that have beaten cancer or are still fighting. Every year since Anne's passing, my family and friends have met at Ohio Street Beach to swim, fighting cancer with every stroke we take.

Cancer continues to affect my family and friends year after year. New diagnoses are heart wrenching, and every fight is different. I have been lucky to be able to keep swimming and fighting for a cure.

I am grateful for everyone's past support for our Team and for the cause, but I am asking again.  Please consider getting involved in the Swim yourself. Donations are great, volunteers are awesome, and Team members are the BEST! Come join us!
