Every year, another friend, family member or colleague is forced to battle cancer. On December 12, 2017, a beautiful light was extinguished when my mom, Julie Van Schoyck, lost her battle with lung cancer.  I still can’t believe it, and I miss her every single day.  I am swimming in her honor on August 3, 2024.
