This will be my 12th year participating in the Swim Across America event. It's a privilege to be swimming in support of such an important cause. The many forms of cancer affect so many lives, and discovering new and better treatments for these diseases would make a profound impact on the health of our family, neighbors, and the world. I am particularly pleased that I can contribute by doing the thing I love.
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Chicago Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift.
