Do you know someone who has fought cancer?
On October 19th,1999, the team at Baylor Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas found a 10 centimeter tumor in my chest and I was diagnosed with cancer.
For the next four months, the doctors at Baylor successfully treated me with chemo and radiation and I have been in remission since March 2000.
Four years ago my brother passed away at 57 after fighting three types of cancer in his life.
On September 14th, I'll swim with Team Mustang in Lake Ray Hubbard with hundreds of other swimmers to raise money for the Innovative Clinical Trials Center inside Baylor Cancer Center, the organization that treated me for cancer.
100% of the money raised directly affects cancer treatment and research.
Baylor saved my life almost 25 years ago and their treatments, today developed through the Innovative Clinical Trials Center, reach people around the world.
This is why I swim.
If you can, would you consider joining me in the fight against cancer?
