This year, Isla and several of her Fast Fins Elite teammates are participating in Swim Across America.  Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. In Dallas, funds raised benefit the Baylor Scott & White Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center.

Isla joined Swim Across America to honor the memory of her grandparents who lost their battle with cancer (Bubby, Granddad and the Grandma she never had the chance to meet) as well as to honor friends and family impacted by cancer.  She has signed up to swim the 1/2 mile open water swim and would love your support!
