Most of you probably know me as a musician, but another big hobby of mine is swimming.  After swimming competitively in college many years ago, it's been a joy to make the switch to swimming for charity instead. I swam in this event for Swim Across America in 2019 and again the last several years, and I am very excited to be able to do it again in 2024!  My 2 mile swim will be on August 17th at Chatfield Reservoir outside of Denver.  One of the things I appreciate most about SAA is that, although it is a national organization, each local event partners with a local hospital or research facility, where funds will be used.  In our case, SAA Denver 2024 will fund 2 upcoming research projects at Children's Hospital Colorado. 

When I swam in this event last year, my Dad was my first sponsor.  In July of 2023 he passed away from small cell lung cancer, and this year I am swimming in his honor.
