Three years ago, I discovered Swim Across America—a movement that merged my love for water with a cause that deeply touches my heart.

An estimated 40% of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetime. Meanwhile National Cancer Institute funding for investigative research and clinical trials has decreased 25% the past 10 years. Together, we can change those statistics.
