Hi Everyone, I am fundraising for Swim Across America to help raise money for cancer research.  I am reminded every year how terrible cancer is but at the same time know that the money raised through this swim is making a huge difference by finding new treatments.  Every year I swim in memory of Asher Brody who was my friends son who passed away when he was 2 in 2014.  I am also swimming in honor of my mom, Mary Barker, who has been bravely fighting Multiple Myeloma for over a year.  

Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
