This is my fifth year participating in Swim Across America. I am swimming in memory of my dad who sadly passed five years ago from renal cell carcinoma. I have seen how cancer has impacted my family, and I want to do my best to make sure that no other family has to go through that. I love to swim, and participating in Swim Across America is a one way that I can do something I love while also helping with cancer research.
