I am excited to share that I am swimming 1.5 miles in the Long Island Sound to raise money for cancer research. I am swimming for my 6th year, as this disease has touched me personally: I have close family members who have been successfully treated for cancer due to breakthroughs in cancer research and family members who have passed away, including my beloved gramma, due to this awful disease. 

I know how it feels to lose someone to cancer, and with the money raised at this event, we can save more lives. I would be so grateful if you would support me in my swim to raise money for cancer research, a disease that has most likely touched someone in your life. Every dollar will make a difference and no amount is too small!
