I am swimming in honor and memory of my mother, Shan Brock, who passed away in January, 2023 in a heroic battle with stage 4 colon cancer. She had endless positivity and is my biggest role model. She was an inspiration to many, and had a great deal of strength. I am also swimming in memory of Julian Fraser, who is with us every day.

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I swim so that, together, we can change that.
