Thank you for visiting my Swim Across America page. I love being a part of Swim Across America because I get to put my love of swimming towards an incredible cause. In our lives, we will all be impacted by cancer, that is if we haven't already. I am a part of the Junior Advisory Board for Fairfield County and have been able to help plan the summer event along with spread the word about this change-making organization.

Swim Across America was founded in 1987, and since then has hosted charity swims to raise money for innovative cancer research that will lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I have been lucky to grow up participating in my summer swim club's pool swim for SAA, and last year was my first time participating in the 1.5 mile open water swim alongside my high school swim teammates, led by our coaches Marj and Erin. It was a truly special event to be a part of and the sense of community was inspiring. I am super excited to swim again this year: on Saturday, June 29 I will be swimming 1.5 miles in the sound along with my teammates!
