I am participating in Swim Across America in honor of my husband, Adam, a brain cancer survivor, my dad, Hal, whom I lost to pancreatic cancer in 2010, and all of my other friends and family members who have faced cancer. 

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that.
