Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. 

My high school swim team is participating in Swim Across America to raise money for MD Anderson.  I am swimming to honor my aunts, Haley Burns & Julie Phillips.  Aunt Haley & Aunt Julie continue to bravely fight their cancer.  Both my aunts have received amazing care from MD Anderson and I would love to honor both of them by fundraising for MD Anderson.
