In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. As a late-stage cancer survivor, I am all too familiar with this reality.

This year, I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change these statistics for the better. On June 10, I will be one of the swimmer supporting the SAA open water swim on Kaiwah Island. I am doing this with my son to celebrate 20 years as a cancer survivor.
