Lowvelo and the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center linked in an event tomorrow for Swim Across America that is an amazing organization and close to my heart as a swimmer. My open water swimming days are well behind me but I will swim 1.5 miles in the safety of a pool (with Tank cheering me on). I have only done .5 miles lately but I will get that 1.5 mile distance in with your support. LET’S RAISE MONEY AND CURE CANCER!!!

Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
