1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime.

I joined the SWIM ACROSS AMERICA community 30 years ago to be part of the fight against cancer. 2024 is the 21st year of TEAM SABATINI, which was started in memory of my father, Bill Sabatini, who lost his battle with cancer in 2004. In the peacefulness of the water, we swim to remember him along with all our family and friends who have lost their battle. 

We also swim to contribute to the continued progress in treatment and toward a cure. In addition to the Sound swim and pool swims, I pledge to swim a mile each day in June and July. 

I look forward to swimming with everyone else in the Long Island Sound on July 27th and raising as much money as possible to fight cancer.
