I swim for you
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that. I have been doing this swim for as long as I can remember, starting when I was 16 years old when we did it for fun. Now, we do it to help stop cancer, help those who have it and help families who are devastated by it.
I have asked you to support me in this swim for so many years, and I am honored and impressed that you continue to support the effort. It has been so rewarding to know that we have been helping people for so long; people that I know and people I have never met. In 2022, it became personal, as we swam in memory of my father law, Stanley Epstein. We will swim in his memory again this year as Team Stanley perserveres in our effort to stamp out this disease. My wife Susie was also diagnosed with breast cancer..and is cancer free after treatment..but it has become personal again.
The fight against cancer takes hard earned dollars which you have provided over the years. I have visited the Swim Across America lab we support at Memorial Sloan Kettering and it is nothing short spectacular. The science described to me in my visit was quite frankly beyond comprehension, but the results are amazing.
So I must ask you again for your support.
Thanks again for your continued generosity,
As Always,
Miles
If you are able, please support me by making a gift. The researchers we are funding are in our community and are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America early stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives. Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
