Did you know that an estimated 40% of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer sometime in their lifetime? Meanwhile, the National Cancer Institute's funding for investigative research and clinical trials has decreased by 25% over the past ten years. This benefit swim is critical because the money raised supports early-stage cancer research and clinical trials. The researchers we are funding are the next generation of cancer pioneers. The medical breakthroughs that we are helping save lives.
That is why Team BeachBum is hoping to reach a goal of $30,000. This is our 15th year being part of the SAA family. Since we joined we have raised over $440,000 for cancer research. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND GENEROSITY!
