STOP Cancer-Please support my 40th swim for Swim Across America on July 29th
Dear friends and avid supporters,
It has been 25 years ago I did my first SWIM ACROSS AMERICA event in Larchmont NY and this is my 42nd swim for SAA. I am so proud of the positive results of the SAA researchers and all the supporters/swimmers. We have raised well over $35 million in these 24 past years and had discoveries that are saving thousands of lives.
I wish to continue to support Dr. Jedd Wolchok of Weil Cornell and Dr. Luis Diaz at Memorial Sloan Kettering for their important research on many cancer, including melanoma which both my wife, Ellen and I had. This swim also supports cancer research at Columbia Presbyterian.
I need your financial help in supporting my swim by this Saturday July 27th. You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America, PO Box 217, Larchmont, NY 10538.
Checks should be made out to "Swim Across America" but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer and Team Kelly you are supporting!
I am grateful for your continued support of these important research hospitals and their dedicated staff. I will continue to swim as long as I am able and cancer continues to take lives. I am swimming always in honor Ellen, who died in 2014 and my high school buddy, Rick Hronicek, who is battling esophageal cancer. I am eternally grateful for your support.
Help STOP Cancer NOW.
