For the 20th consecutive year, on July 29th my family and some great friends will be participating in the 31st annual Swim Across America Long Island Sound open water swim. This amazing event raises money for cancer research, prevention & treatment. Thanks to the generous donations made by many of you SAA has raised over $80 million to date!

As many of you know my brother Eric and I lost our mother, Inger, 27 years ago to this devastating illness and our father, Lou, also battled cancer and I am a proud cancer survivor. Unfortunately we continue to watch loved ones become stricken with this disease.

This swim is dedicated to the memory of our mother, to honor our father and to recognize all those who have lost the battle with cancer, who are fighting it right now as well as those who have beaten it.
