Erin Calderoni 2k Swim
Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters,
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can raise money for the network of researchers and doctors who are the pioneers in developing new treatments and cures for the fight against cancer. Unfortunately, when I was young, I lost my Nanny Burns and Grandpa Calderoni from cancer, and my Mom is a breast cancer survivor. I have participated in Swim Across America for the last 5 years competing in the 1 mile swim open water swim. I am proud to be able to support this cause and join together with Team Inger to beat cancer. This event is truly inspiring and we participate in the swim to honor those who have passed and those who are still battling.
Once again I will be participating in this event, by swimming the 2K open water in the Long Island Sound on Saturday July 27th. This swim will always be in honor of my Grandpa Burns. He was always so proud of my achievements and always cheered me on. I know he will be me with every stroke, every breath, and every kick pushing and cheering me on to the finish.
Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift to reach my goal. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention, and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure.
Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!!
Let’s make waves to fight cancer!
Xoxo
Erin
