TEAM ALICE swims in honor of my Grandmother - Alice Caserta and I have completed the 1.3 mile open water swim for the last 11 years since she lost her battle to cancer in 2003. TEAM ALICE's fundraising Goal for 2024 is $50,000! Thank you for your continued generous support of our TEAM in Swim Across America's Cancer fundraising swim. On Saturday, July 27th my family including my Dad, and brother Luke and I along with my cousins Max & Jack Caserta will complete the 1.3-mile open-water swim to benefit Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in memory of my Grandmother, who lost her battle to cancer in Sept:2003 and my Dad's good friend Dr. Mike Hughes (he used to do the swims as well). 

I have been involved with Swim Across America for over 11 years and we have seen some fantastic results from the donations that SAA has raised from many of you! One of our proudest achievements has come from being a part of the group that set up the funding for Memorial Sloan Kettering's Swim Across America Lab, which has successfully created a cancer immunotherapy vaccine that has changed the way many cancer treatments have evolved. SAA has granted over $100mm to fund cancer research & clinical trials at world-renowned research institutes and hospitals including: Sloan Kettering, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Moffitt Cancer Center, Massachusetts General Hospital for Children Cancer Center, MD Anderson, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, Levine Cancer Center, Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center at Dallas, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
